Resistance
Available to individuals under the scheme.

Applying for approved counselling through the Victims Services, could feel overwhelming and re-traumatizing, so please seek support during this process. A case worker, or a trusted friend might be all that you need. Alternatively, you could contact the Victims Access Line on 1800 633 063 or the Aboriginal Contact Line on 1800 019 123 during business hours.

Once approved to receive counselling, you could nominate the approved counsellor you wish to work with. You might like to contact and talk to a few practitioners before committing to the healing journey.

Please note, there might be at least one week wait time, between contacting a counsellor and commencing therapy, as some paper work must be done first, following the VS guidelines.

I work with men and women with claims for:

*Adults survivors of child abuse/neglect
*Domestic Violence
*Assaults

Depending to the nature of the claim, we could work on short term or longer term therapy to address the issues you might be dealing with and work around safety first.

If you wish to start a conversation with me, please reach out via my Contact page.
